Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Looptuber (https://looptuber.com) stores, what third-party services it uses, and what data those services see. Looptuber has no user accounts and no server-side database — almost everything below either stays on your device or is handled by a named third party.

Data stored in your browser

Your loop points (start/end times), playback speed, loop on/off state, and any notes you type are saved using your browser's localStorage, keyed to the video you're watching. This data:

• never leaves your device — it is not sent to any server we operate,
• is not tied to an account, since there is no account,
• is removed if you clear your browser's site data, and
• is capped to your 50 most recently used videos; older entries are dropped automatically.

Analytics

We do not use any third-party analytics. We log first-party usage events — a video started playing, a loop completed, or a visit arriving from a source-tagged link — to understand aggregate usage. These events are stored in Cloudflare's analytics engine and contain no cookies, no accounts, and no video content: the event type, the video ID and source tag where applicable, plus the coarse technical details our host provides (IP address, user agent, country and city, network number, and timezone). They are never sold or shared.

Advertising

Looptuber is built to support display advertising through Google AdSense in the future, but no ads are currently shown. If ads are enabled, AdSense may use cookies to show ads, including ads based on your prior activity across sites. You can manage ad personalization directly at Google Ads Settings.

Cookies

We don't set first-party tracking cookies of our own. YouTube's embedded player, which loads the videos you watch, may set cookies of its own when you play a video — their use is covered by Google's privacy policy. If advertising is enabled in the future, ad cookies may apply; the advertising section above will be updated to describe them.

Your choices

• Clear your browser's site data at any time to remove everything stored locally.
• Use your browser or ad blocker to block embedded player or ad scripts — the loop tool works fully with localStorage alone.

Children's privacy

Looptuber is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the "Last updated" date above will change with it.
